Topic: The responsibility for the environment rests with the individuals and not only with the government. Do you agree?

Natural disasters are one of the most dangerous and fatal problem of the world as a whole. The increase both in quantity and level of damage of those causes many strategies to people around the world. Everybody knows that is the results of our bad behaviors to Mother Earth but they seem to assume that the governments are who to be responsible of solving the problem. However, it is us, each individual has to control our bad habits and offer more helps in order to ameliorate and protect the environment.
First, we need to change some daily habits that can be harmful to the environment. We can begin with small things like reducing our spending on goods that made from rubber or wrapped by plastic covers which are not able to be recycled and very harmful when they become waste items. Moreover, it is very hazardous if plastic items are thrown to the ocean, this can results in the disappearance of many kinds of aquatic creature. One more habit should be adjusted is dividing our rubbish into classes like organic, recycle and non-recycle one. This simple action can help a lot to efficiently classify and tackle garbage.
Second, some more actions should be taken in order to present our willing to cooperate with the nation natural protection campaign. One of them is to alter our way of transport since car usage can cause the greenhouse effect that leads to the increasing temperature and other negative changes in the environment like the spreading of desert. You can use more public transports such as tram to get to work, bicycles to go to school or walk to the store at the corner and the earth will thank you about those gestures.
Besides, if some people could set aside their personal profits to think for benefits of the society, there would be a better place for us to live. In fact, one of the main reasons that cause tsunamis, twisters or floods is the irresponsibility of people who exploit woods and mountain rock without planning and permission. The terrible storm happened last month in North of Vietnam is the evident of the unawareness of natural protection of some people, and this cause huge damage in human and property, hundreds of people are dead or missed, thousands others lost their home and become penniless.
All in all, better late or never, it is obviously the time when each person has to start acting for the environment if we do not want it to be too late. It is hard to change the bad habit and the egoism of the whole humanity, but each one of us need to wake up and take actions or it will take our lives, and even our next generations’ lives to pay for the betrayal to Mother Earth.

Topic: Central business districts as well as shopping areas in city centres all over the world are becoming increasingly congested. City governments have tried to control the numbers of cars entering their city centres in several ways, but not usually with great success.
What are the advantages and disadvantagesof banning private motor vehicles in city centres

City centers are always the “must-go” places for everyone to enjoy all its colorful and outstanding shops, commercial centers, and office buildings. This explains why those areas attract more and more people and simultaneously put themselves among the most troublesome concerns of the city governments. They tried hard to control the number of private motor vehicles going to the center of the city. This have advantages as well as disadvantages when it helps to lessen the pollution, reduce the traffic jam, and save spaces, but also brings inconveniences, and costs lots of time and investment.
There are three main advantages of private cars prohibition in the downtown. First, this obviously eases the pollution problem. There would be no more smoke from all kind of cars, no more terrible noises of horns and engines disturbing people all the time if there were no vehicles in the business center. However, it is so hard to reach that ideal situation then fewer cars or public transports only would also helps. Secondly, the daytime nightmare of all people: traffic jam will be reduced efficiently. This brightening result helps people to diminish stresses caused by staying still in the middle of the jam. In fact, you may save half of the time travelling home and have double time for relaxation as long as the street is clear. Furthermore, if it is forbidden for cars to enter the downtown, lots of spaces will be saved. Land which is used as car-park can be redesigned to be another office building or trade center and while land is money, this will bring a remarkable economic benefit.
In controversy, there are undeniable advantages of this policy which would lead to people's opjection. First of all, it may cause many inconveniences for the citizens. For those who come to the area to shopping, it is really uncomfortable when they have to manage bags full of goods in their hands hustling to the crowded public transports. That is not the end of the trouble, without their private motor vehicles, people have to spend more time using buses or trams or the underground to hit their destinations. In addition, the governments have to spend more money on developing the public transportation as well as parking lot in the suburb around the banned area.
The argument of this matter is still carried on since this policy brings both the positive and negative effects to the society. Whether pollution, street congestion and space amelioration are more important than inconveniences, time and budget trouble is, however, hard to see. Notwithstanding the undefined answer, city governments still do their best to have the number of private cars decreased.

Bai nay lam hoi sang, co sua te le, toi gio ngoi viet lai. Gio no thanh dzi ne..Phan ket luan hong tot lam, but ma ..met roai...

Studying far away from home is rather common among college students. However, staying in the school dormitory is not always a good choice. Some students enjoy sharing an apartment with a roommate. You may find this can helps to lower the cost, lessen the weight of housework, and creates a sense of partnership.
First of all, living with a partner can be the best way to save costs. If you have a roommate, you can save at least 200 dollars on the rent every month and it is a big amount for a student. Besides, a considerable saving sum may be made if you can arrange to share your meals and go to school together.
Secondly, you may find housework a burden when sharing it with your roommate. It would be terrible if you have to do all those chores alone. Your housework can be divided between you and your partner. You can cook, do the cleaning, and empty the dust bin while your roommate can iron wash the dishes, and do the laundry. By this way, you will have more time for your personal interests.
Last but not least, having a roommate creates a sense of sharing. Nothing can be worse than getting home alone and having no one to talk to or to work with, especially when it repeats every day. Your partner may not be a doctor when you are sick, a psychologist or a good talker when you have problem, but he or she must be a person you need to keep you away from a feeling of loneliness when you are away from home.
Although sharing a place with someone may cause unexpected matters but this wonderful solution not only brings you more money savings and more time to enjoy your hobbies but also offer a cozier home feeling.

Topic: Some businesses now say that no one can smoke cigarettes in any of their offices. Some governments have banned smoke in all public places. Do you agree or disargree?

“To smoke or not to smoke”, to some people this really a huge question. Smoking cigarettes is prohibited in public places in many countries, even in some companies. There are people who absolutely support this policy because smoking can cause lung cancer to direct smoker as well as indirect smokers while some others think smoking can help them work more effective.

People who support smoking interdiction may have many strong and persuasive reasons. First of all, smoking cigarettes may cause lung cancer and other ENT (ear, nose, and throat) problem. This information about cancer can be seen in the cover of most of cigarette box but smokers seem to ignore it. The smoke and nicotine that are contained in the cigar can be very harmful to smoker’s health. Moreover, as the matter of fact, it is so much more dangerous for people around them, the indirect smokers. Those unlucky people who do not smoke, actually, because they know “cigarette kills” but they can not help to be indirect smokers when they go to public places like the cinemas, subways, bus stations or restaurants. Last but not least, nicotine can lead to addiction for those who use it. That’s the reason why people know about the danger but they simply can not give it up.

On the other hand, opponents may argue that smokers always feel unwell if they try to quit smoking. They point out that keeping themselves away from cigarettes means bringing them higher blood pressure than usual. According to them, a light of a cigar help them to stay awake, work much more efficiently, and even be a pain killer. Another point is that people, especially young people find themselves more stylish with a cigarette on their lips. The appearance of cigarette image on the screen accompanied with handsome actors and romantic sense cause a trend in the youth who make an effort to imitate their idols.

To sum up, smoking is still a considerably matter of the world that must be banned in the public places since it can adverse all of us, the smokers and people around them, simultaneously despite of what smokers raised to protect their opinions. I reckon that if people awareness and good behavior could be improved and the government made more efforts such as raising tax, cigarette advertisement prohibition and “no smoking in public spots”, this serious problem would be more effectively reduced.
